Mediation Back on Agenda!

I am pleased to report that PPS have reconsidered their position and offered to proceed to mediation in respect of the "Stand Alone Night Watch" issue. As a sign of good faith, they have also indicated a willingness to withdraw the rosters that were designed to introduce the proposed changes on 9 December.

CANZ thanks them for their consideration and will be informing them of our decision to accept both aspects of this latest offer. Accordingly, your National Officers will be communicating today in an attempt to identify a mutually convenient date for proceeding with mediation.

Once this has been done we will, of course, advise the membership. We thank you for your tolerance and perseverance on this issue and assure you that we will continue to represent your interests to the best of our ability.

Once again, I will update you in the event of further developments.
