THE MUSTER BUSTER?

The Department of Corrections Bargaining Agent, Teesdale and Associates, has requested that CANZ attend a meeting to discuss a PSA Proposal regarding the Muster situation. CANZ understands the PSA proposal is in fact the Muster Variation negotiated between CANZ and The Department last year. Teesdale’s have recently confirmed that the Department currently has no funding for a muster allowance. CANZ has agreed to meet the Department at a date to be confirmed. The proposed meeting will enable CANZ to continue discussions on the proposal CANZ had tabled at Mediation before the Department withdrew from those talks in May. We are still waiting for the outcome of the authority hearing.

CIE TALKS
