All CANZ members at Manawatu Prison are asked to support their colleagues in CIE from 10.00am Wednesday 15 March when they commence strike action for 24 hours.

There will be a picket in front of the prison manned by CIE instructors and myself, and hopefully as many of you as possible.

Hopefully a reporter or three will turn up to record the event.

There will be a bar-b-que at the picket between 12 – 1pm for all 8-5 CANZ members on shift.

For those working early or late shifts please take the time to come to work a bit earlier or stay later and lend your support. Im sure there will still be sausies available to munch on.

Our CIE mates gave us huge support in 2001, now its our turn to support them.
